Stone House® Establishes Charitable Endowment

The Community Foundation of the Endless Mountains, a division of Commonwealth Charitable Management headquartered in Montrose, is pleased to announce that Stone House® Retirement Income Planners of Tunkhannock has established the Stone House Charitable Fund that will provide charitable and educational support throughout the United States. Robert J. Brown CFP, a partner in Stone House®, points out that this new endowment is a continuation of the firm’s commitment not only to our local communities, but to an ever-expanding area of priorities as guided by clients. “Our client base has grown considerably, over the last fifteen years and some clients are very much enjoying just how philanthropy makes them feel. They’re not only thinking of where they want their dollars to go this year, but also about what happens long after they’re gone. This fund will formalize the charitable capabilities of Stone House® while providing enduring flexibility for various charitable goals.” Peter Quigg, President of The Community Foundation, adds that “the Community Foundation has the ability to support philanthropic projects wherever Stone House® feels the need is the greatest, and we look forward to working with Bob, his partners, and their clients to provide assistance where it will have the greatest impact.”
