Storeroom Solutions Continues to Support K-12 Scholarships

January 20, 2010: Storeroom Solutions has donated $5,000 to the Community Foundation of Susquehanna & Wyoming Counties EITC scholarship program. This is the third year that Storeroom Solutions has contributed to the program, and they have pledged to donate the same amount next year.

The EITC program allows businesses to offset their state corporate taxes by funding scholarships for low to moderate income families who wish to send their children to accredited private schools or public school special programs. The EITC program at the Community Foundation this year granted $83,000 in scholarships to some 150 local children, providing tuition assistance to the Susquehanna County Career and Technical Center (SCCTC), local private schools, and other programs.
