Mrs. Maggie Cartwright
August 4, 2008: The Community Foundation of Susquehanna & Wyoming Counties would like to thank Board member, Maggie Cartwright, on becoming the first citizen of Wyoming County to pioneer a Community Foundation Legacy Society for one of her favorite organizations; The Tunkhannock Public Library.
Maggie has notified us that her estate plans provide for the establishment of a permanent endowment fund to support The Library. Maggie is well known in the region for her community involvement, and although we expect she will continue her activity for many years to come, we appreciate her confidence in The Community Foundation to carry on her tradition. The Tunkhannock Public Library is a central aspect of community life in Wyoming County, and will remain so for many generations to come, thanks in part to people like Maggie.
Those wishing to follow Maggie's example to provide for everlasting support for a favorite charity may contact The Community Foundation for more information about our Legacy Societies.
