The Community Foundation Legacy Society
Our Legacy Society exists to formally recognize those who have generously remembered their favorite charity when making their estate plans. A simple clause in a Will stating that a Fund will be established, and a Letter of Instruction outlining one's priorities, is all that is necessary. Upon the settlement of an estate The Community Foundation will establish a Fund to provide perpetual assistance to whatever cause or charitable organization was stipulated in the Will.
To recognize the forethought of Legacy Society members, and to extend a public thanks, The Community Foundation will host annual events in honor of Society members. An individual, or that person's attorney, may contact The Community Foundation for more information about remembering one's favorite charity in a Will.
