Peter Quigg
President
Peter joined the Foundation in 2005 after having worked for fourteen years at the Killington Mountain School as Director of Student Life, English Teacher, and Dormitory Supervisor. He grew up in Clarks Green and attended the Abington Heights School District. He is a graduate of Kimball Union Academy, and has a Bachelor’s degree from Bennington College, and a Master’s degree from Lesley University.
His mother's ancestors were among the earliest settlers of Susquehanna County in the Harford area, and his family again became associated with the county in 1975 when his father Tom purchased Seddon-Lathrop Oil Corporation, which has since evolved into the Pump n Pantry chain of convenience stores. Peter and his wife Therese live in Franklin Township, Susquehanna County.
In addition to his daily responsibilities, Peter also represents The Community Foundation with the following organizations: Blue Ridge School District Strategic Planning Committee, Lackawanna College New Milford Center Advisory Council, Pennsylvania 4-H Development Council, and Susquehanna County Career & Technology Center Advisory Council.
